Important Information and Conditions
House rules, payment terms, liquor laws, and health and safety.
These conditions are designed to support a safe, respectful event on a working rural property and within a functioning distillery environment.
By confirming a booking, the organiser agrees to the terms below.
House Rules
- Access to the space may be granted two hours prior to the booking for self setup at no charge.
- Decorations must not damage structures, equipment or surfaces.
- Damage to the facility or equipment beyond reasonable wear and tear is the booking party’s responsibility.
- Open flames, confetti and permanent fixings are not permitted without prior approval.
- Setup and pack down must occur within the agreed access times. Overtime is charged at $500 per hour block.
- A cleaning or repair fee may apply if the space is not returned in suitable condition following the event.
- External vendors are welcome but must be approved and hold appropriate public liability insurance.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
Payment Terms
- A $1,000 deposit is required to confirm the booking.
- A flat $300 service fee applies where venue preparation is required by our team.
- Cancellations or rescheduling more than 14 days prior to the booking date will receive a full refund or transfer of the deposit.
- Cancellations within 14 days of the booking date forfeit the deposit.
- If rescheduling is required within 14 days due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will work with the booking party to find a suitable outcome.
- Coffin Rock Distillery reserves the right to refuse a refund where appropriate.
- Final payment is due prior to commencement of the booking, including the $1,000 bond.
- Final guest numbers must be confirmed prior to the booking, charges are based on confirmed numbers or the minimum charge, whichever is greater.
Liquor Laws
- Alcohol will not be served to any person under 18 years of age. Approved identification may be requested.
- No external alcohol is permitted on the premises.
- Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times while on licensed premises, in accordance with WA liquor licensing laws.
- Service of alcohol is governed by Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements, management may refuse service or remove patrons at its discretion.
Health and Safety
- Guests must be made aware they are stepping into close proximity to a working agricultural farm.
- Guests must remain within designated areas. Production and storage zones are restricted unless supervised.
- The booking party accepts responsibility for the safety and conduct of their guests.
- Coffin Rock Distillery accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage sustained by guests except where deemed at fault.
- Coffin Rock Distillery accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
- Unauthorised access beyond designated areas constitutes trespass and may result in liability for damage, contamination cleanup and associated biosecurity management costs.
- The venue reserves the right to cancel, modify or terminate a booking where safety, licensing or operational requirements require it.
